A new look: sage on black
The whole site moved to one identity — sage on black, system fonts — with a space mode you can switch on.
The site had picked up a lot of extras over the summer: a light mode, an accent colour picker, a doodle mode. Each was fun on its own, but together the site didn't feel like one thing anymore.
So I redesigned it around a single identity: sage on black, system fonts, no light mode. Every page now uses the same set of colours and spacing.
The fun part survived in a different form. There's a space mode now — you can see space through my name on the home page, and the About page has a scroll-driven flight. A switch in the footer remembers it across the whole site.
Fewer options, more character. I think that's usually the right trade.
