Who I am
I am a first-year Business Administration student at SAIT in Calgary, with a strong interest in business, design and technology. I chose business because I want to understand how companies are built and run, not just how to work for one.
I believe that anything worthwhile has to be worked for. Success does not come overnight, and I am not looking for shortcuts. I would rather stay consistent, keep showing up and improve a little every day.
My eye for design comes from my parents. They have always cared about how things look and feel, and growing up around that shaped both my fashion sense and the way I approach visual work. Today it shows up in everything from the clothes I wear to the websites and brands I build.
I learn best by doing. I try things, make mistakes, ask questions and apply what I learn to the next challenge. Experience has always been my best teacher.
Right now
My focus this year is on school and on building the foundations I will need later. I am balancing my studies with running a small business and taking on design work, which keeps me busy and teaches me something new every week.

Skills
I have built a mix of business, creative and technical skills. Each one supports the others: design helps me communicate, technology helps me build, and business ties it all together.

Outside of work
The most important part of my life is my family and friends. Most of my free time goes to being out with them and enjoying life, and they keep me grounded no matter how busy school and work get.
I collect retro tech, mostly Game Boys, along with other older consoles and hardware. I like how well these devices were designed and how they still hold up decades later. I am also a big gamer. In winter, you will usually find me skiing in the mountains.
Looking ahead
My long-term goal is financial independence, and I plan to get there by building and owning businesses. Business Administration at SAIT is the groundwork for that: it gives me the knowledge to make better decisions as I take on bigger challenges.
I know that will take years of work, and I am ready for it. For now, I am focused on learning as much as I can, building good habits and making the most of every opportunity.
