Project one is this website
The first project in my web design portfolio is the site you are reading it on.
When I added a web design portfolio, I needed something to put in the first slot. The most honest answer was the site it lives on.
It is a fair test. Everything here is something I designed and built myself, and anyone looking at the portfolio is already using it, so there is nowhere to hide a weak spot.
It also keeps me honest about upkeep. If this site looks stale, so does project one.
