Everything you need to know about Eclipse Client: a black + green Minecraft client for Fabric 26.2 with a map, HUD, tools, visuals and a schematic printer, all set up from one menu.

📥 Install

Install the Modrinth App.
Search Eclipse Client in the app and click Install (or click Install on the Modrinth page).
Open the instance settings → Java and memory → set at least 6 GB.
Press Play. The first time, a welcome screen shows the main keys and lets you pick a preset.
In game, press Backspace to open the Eclipse menu.

Only want some of the mods? Every Eclipse mod is also on Modrinth on its own. You always need Eclipse Core and Fabric API.

🖥️ The Eclipse menu

Press Backspace anywhere. Every feature is a card with an on/off switch and a Settings button. Each feature has its own page, many with a live preview.

Sidebar page	What it's for
Mods	All feature cards + the search box
HUD Editor	Drag HUD parts anywhere. Right click hides one, middle click resets it
Theme	Accent color (or any hex color), box darkness, blur behind menus
Client	Title screen, loading screen, window name, Discord status, export/import settings
All Mods	Every installed mod with its settings button (replaces Mod Menu)
Key Binds	Change keys, search, and see only the keys that clash

Settings search — Type in the search box to find any setting.

Tip: right click a button on a feature page to go back one step (undo a click).

⚡ Presets

Preset	Best for
Survival	Everything useful for normal play: map, HUD, tools and nice visuals
Building	Bright world, fast placing and freecam. Fewer effects so building stays smooth
PvP	Combat info up front: armor, effects, auto totem
Max FPS	Turns off everything heavy for the most FPS
Pretty	All the visuals on, plus shaders

Change any key in Eclipse menu → Key Binds. Turn on Clashes only to see keys used twice.

📊 Eclipse HUD

HUD in game — Minimap, compass, info lines, saturation bar and armor.

Info lines

FPS, coords, Nether coords, facing, biome, light, day + time, ping, speed, chunk, memory.

Compass bar

At the top of the screen, with waypoint and chest markers.

Looking at

Name, health, can you harvest it, crop growth, mining progress, which mod.

Food & saturation

Gold saturation bar and a preview of what your food adds.

Armor + tools

Durability next to the hotbar, with optional numbers.

Warnings

Tool about to break, low health (red edge + heartbeat).

Extras

Item counter, clock + stopwatch, keystrokes with CPS, session stats, day counter.

Tooltips

Durability, food values, shulker box preview, rarity borders.

Looking at — Looking-at box, health tags and damage numbers.

Food page — The Food & Saturation page with preview.

🗺️ Eclipse Map

World map — The world map (M). Drag to move, scroll to zoom, right click for options.

Waypoints

Add, edit, hide, share in chat and go to waypoints. Light beams show them in the world.
A death waypoint is added when you die.
Your Xaero waypoints are imported automatically (or press Import Xaero).

Feature	How
Seed map	World map → Seed map tab. Pick which structures show
Cave mode	Underground, the minimap shows the cave layer you're in
Mob radar	Hold `Mouse 4`. Turn off "hold" to always show it
Slime chunks / chunk grid / trail	Map settings → Extras
Share location	Sends your coords in chat as a waypoint friends can click
Litematica + Baritone	Shows your schematics and Baritone's path on the map
Save map as picture	Map settings → Extras

🧰 Eclipse Tools

Librarian reroll

Open Eclipse menu → Librarian Reroll → Settings and add the books you want.
Set the exact price, or tick Lowest to only accept the cheapest price.
Hold an axe, put lecterns in your offhand, look at the villager's lectern and press Start reroll.
It breaks and places the lectern until the villager sells your book.

Only books villagers can sell are listed. Soul Speed and Swift Sneak can't be bought, so they're not in the list.

Chest finder

Open chests normally and Eclipse remembers what's inside. Press J, type an item, and click a result: it shows on your compass for 60 seconds.

Everything else

Camera

Zoom, fullbright, freecam, borderless fullscreen.

Inventory

Middle-click sort, item lock, chest search box, stack refill, auto totem, mouse tweaks, XP clumping.

Hand tweaks

Hold use, hold attack, auto hit, fast place, auto tool.

Better chat

Timestamps (click to copy), (x3) stacking, longer history.

Helpers

Auto reconnect, auto eat, auto sprint, auto fish.

✨ Eclipse Visuals

Custom crosshair

Crosshair page — The preview shows your crosshair on night, snow and grass, at real size, and on a mob.

10 styles: cross, dot, circle, cross + circle, T shape, X, arrow, square, brackets, thick plus.
Scale makes it smaller or bigger. Size, gap, thickness and opacity change the shape.
Pick any color (or T for your theme color) and a different color for when you aim at a mob.

Look

Fancy tooltips, inventory particles, smooth hotbar, block outline color.

World

Ambient particles, dynamic lights, item physics, nicer portals.

Combat

Damage numbers, health on name tags, hit color, low fire + shield.

Player

Animations, hide armor (shows again when fighting), trail.

Clear view

Clear water and lava, no rain / snow on your screen.

🏗️ Eclipse Printer

Needs Litematica and MaLiLib. Load a schematic with Litematica, press Caps Lock and walk around: the printer places the right blocks for you.

Setting	What it does
Mode	Place only, or Place + Break (breaks wrong blocks)
Build order	Bottom up or top down. "Redstone last" waits with redstone parts
Server-safe mode	Slower and safer for servers with anti-cheat
Full auto	Walks (or flies in creative) around the build until it's done
Refill	Restocks from chests you mark and from shulker boxes
Build together	Friends with the printer split the build (needs Eclipse Server)

🌐 Server setup (Eclipse Server)

Eclipse Server adds friends on the map at any distance, shared team waypoints and build together. Players without Eclipse mods aren't affected.

Paper / Purpur: put the Paper version in plugins.
Fabric: put the Fabric version in mods (needs Fabric API).

Feature rules

These features only work in singleplayer unless your server allows them: autohit, autototem, radar, cavemap, autowalk, freecam.

Use * to allow all of them, then restart the server.

❓ FAQ + fixes

A feature says "off on this server"

That feature needs the server's permission. Ask the server owner to add Eclipse Server and allow it, or use it in singleplayer.

My FPS is low

Pick the Max FPS preset, turn down Distant Horizons, and turn off shaders (Video Settings → Shader Packs).

Where is Mod Menu?

Eclipse Core replaces it. Use Eclipse menu → All Mods. Don't install Mod Menu as well.

Two mods use the same key

Eclipse menu → Key Binds → turn on Clashes only, then change one of them.

Can I share my settings?

Yes: Eclipse menu → Client → Export my settings. Your friend uses Import.

Can I turn off the Eclipse title screen?

Yes: Eclipse menu → Client.

The game crashed

Post the crash report (in the crash-reports folder) in the Discord bug-reports channel, or send it with the bug report page.
